I bought the walnut veneer table for a small studio where I needed one surface to serve several purposes. During the week it works as a desk, but I can also use it as a project table when I need more working room. The 1-inch profile keeps the overall piece from looking too heavy in the room. I liked being able to select the leg style rather than having to find a compatible base somewhere else. I was also happy to keep the purchase with a Canadian company instead of ordering a similar-looking table from a large overseas marketplace!
