A 1'' thick premium walnut veneer — made with real walnut wood on the exterior, designed for durability and stability. I needed a reasonably sized table for a room where space is limited, and the 48-inch option worked out very well. The walnut surface gives the room some warmth without making it feel dark. I also liked having several leg options instead of having to source a separate base. Assembly was straightforward and the finished table feels much more substantial than I expected for a veneer top. It has been a very practical addition to our dining area
