A 1.5" thick premium beech walnut (real wood, not a manufactured vinyl / laminate surface). Suitable for desktops, table tops, or fine woodwork. Likewise, the product found its popularity in the kitchen tables niche, like dining tables, coffee tables and side benches.

NOTE: Only the top side of the table top is fully finished while the underside (which is not normally visible) is unfinished and may have imperfections.

I needed a thick, real-wood surface for a dual-monitor home office and the 60x30 beech top delivered exactly that. The included grommets made cable management simple, and the 1.5-inch thickness gives the whole setup a substantial, professional feel. After several months of daily use the finish still looks fresh and resists minor scuffs well. Pairing it with hairpin legs created a clean modern desk that fits the room perfectly. Knowing the product comes from a Canadian maker added extra satisfaction to the project.

I used the beech top to build a dedicated workstation rather than buying another complete desk. The 1.5-inch thickness gives the setup a very substantial feel, and I like having the two grommet openings for keeping cables under control. The surface is comfortable to use every day and has enough room for my monitor, speakers and notebooks.
