A 1.5" thick premium beech walnut (real wood, not a manufactured vinyl / laminate surface). Suitable for desktops, table tops, or fine woodwork. Likewise, the product found its popularity in the kitchen tables niche, like dining tables, coffee tables and side benches.

NOTE: Only the top side of the table top is fully finished while the underside (which is not normally visible) is unfinished and may have imperfections.

This was purchased for a workbench-style desk in my home studio. I wanted a real wood surface that could handle daily use rather than a lightweight office tabletop. The beech top has the weight and thickness I was looking for, and the 60-inch width gives me enough room for equipment without crowding everything together. Customer service was also easy to deal with. Jonny answered my questions about the tabletop and mounting options quickly, which helped me finalize the setup without a lot of back-and-forth.

I used the beech top to build a dedicated workstation rather than buying another complete desk. The 1.5-inch thickness gives the setup a very substantial feel, and I like having the two grommet openings for keeping cables under control. The surface is comfortable to use every day and has enough room for my monitor, speakers and notebooks. I paired it with my own frame and the finished result looks much more custom than a typical office desk. This was a good choice for a DIY setup

The beech tabletop looks even better in person and has a really nice natural wood character. I used it for a home office desk and the 60x30 size gives me plenty of room for two monitors and accessories. The finish is smooth and easy to keep clean. Very happy with how solid and substantial it feels.
