The oak top worked perfectly for my home library table, giving me plenty of room for books and an open notebook!

The natural live edge on this solid oak top adds organic character that a standard rectangular slab just can’t match, while the warm oak tones work beautifully with both our modern chairs and older sideboard. At 1.5 inches thick it feels rock-solid once mounted, and the polyurethane finish has held up through weekly family dinners without issue. I appreciate being able to buy just the tabletop so I could reuse an existing base. Choosing a Canadian company for the piece felt like the right decision, and the quality reflects that local care. It’s now the quiet star of our dining area.

I used the oak live-edge top to create a desk for a creative workspace. I wanted something with a natural edge but didn't want the darker appearance of walnut, so the oak was a good fit. The 1.5-inch thickness also worked well with the metal frame I already had. One thing I appreciated was being able to purchase just the tabletop rather than being forced into a complete desk package. Supporting a Canadian business made the decision even easier.

I ordered the oak top for a dining table project and paired it with a base I already had. What I liked most was being able to build the table around the base rather than having to buy an entire dining set. The 1.5-inch thickness gives it a substantial feel without making the room look overly formal. The live edge also works nicely with our fairly modern furniture. Supporting a Canadian company for the project was an added bonus!

I used the 60-inch oak top to build a desk for my home office. The depth gives me enough room for my monitor and work materials without taking up the entire room. I particularly liked that I could choose the leg style separately and build the desk around the space I already had. The natural edge adds some character without making the desk look overly rustic. It turned out to be a much more personalized setup than buying a complete desk!
